Ro

What is Aǹalemma?

RO (Reverse Osmosis) is a process where water having more than desirable salt content is put in one part of a vessel with two compartments separated by special media and pressure is applied on the water. The result is only pure water going into the other compartment and salt remaining in the same compartment.

Who should use RO purifiers?

RO should be used in areas where the content of salt or other undesired minerals in the water is extremely high. The flip side with RO is that the membranes in the filters will drain out some of the necessary minerals too. Also, large amounts of water might be required for RO purifiers as only a fraction of the water might be made available for consumption.
